The Diversity Acceptance Project

Diversity Acceptance Is Grounded in Self Acceptance: A Fundamental Assumption

Although this is really an assumption that could be proven false by experimentation, it just seems intuitively obvious to me. If I can be so intolerant as to reject some aspect of myself, how on Earth can I be expected to manifest the tolerance required to accept the quirks, foibles, idiosyncrasies, oddities, etc. of another human being?

But if we’re building a theory here, then it should be rigorous, so at some point we’ll have to challenge this assumption by trying to falsify it.
